Langhe Chardonnay is a dry wine with a velvety, harmonious, pleasantly persistent taste. A good structure and mineral derivation results in an intensely fruity and floral bouquet. Excellent served with cheese and as an accompaniment to fish and shellfish dishes.

Langhe D.o.c. Chardonnay
Vineyards:
• Area: Bussia area of Monforte d’Alba.
• Grapes: Chardonnay 100%.
• Exposure: South, South-east.
• Altitude: 450-480 mt s.l.m.
• Strains per hectare: 4500.
• Vine training: Guyot.
• Harvest period: September.
Winery:
Manual harvesting, fermentation takes place without contact with the marc in stainless steel tanks at 16-19°C. After that, the wine ages for 6 months in stainless steel tanks before being bottled.
• Malolactic fermentation: No.
• Alcohol content: 13 -13,5%.
Tasting:
• Colour: Straw yellow with golden shades.
• Smell: Intense of tropical fruits, white flowers, lemon leaf.
• Flavour: Fresh and juicy, savoury and long-lasting with acidity and alcohol content well balanced.
•Temperature of service: 10-12°C.
• Food pairing: particularly suitable with grilled fish and molluscs, it is excellent with dishes based on bitter vegetables, or very savoury and sapid like anchovy, mushrooms, and aged cheese.
